What is the Vyayam Course?

A training programme directed by Master Swami Shankaratilaka, based on the "hidden science" of the warrior-yogis of India.

The goal is personal development, discipline, and the training necessary to share these teachings with others.

The training hours represent the minimum foundation. After completing the first 200h you may continue with the next programme, progressively deepening your knowledge. Upon completion, students receive a diploma recognising their participation. The diploma does not by itself grant permission to teach Vyayam or to use the Vyayam trademark.

Programme Requirements

  • Intensive programme: 21 days at 9.5 hours per day.
  • A deposit of 50% of the total fee is required to secure your place.
  • The remaining 50% must be paid at least 10 days before the course begins.
  • Strict punctuality is mandatory; delays are recorded as absences.
  • If absences exceed 10 hours, the seminar is considered lost.
  • Missing hours may be recovered for a fee of €100 via face-to-face or online tutoring.
  • All seminars must be completed to receive the diploma. No exceptions for medical, family, or work reasons.
  • A Participation Diploma is awarded upon completing the 200h, valid for personal practice only.
  • Your coach determines whether you are prepared for the exam.
  • Students must maintain discipline and a positive relationship with the Vedic Foundation.
  • Smokers must quit at least three months before the course and commit to remaining smoke-free. Non-compliance may result in withdrawal of the diploma and accreditation.
  • Exams can only be taken in person.
